If you’re looking for things to do in Lowestoft, step aboard for an exciting scenic boat trip of Norfolk and Suffolk’s beautiful Sunrise Coast where you’ll realise why we just can’t get enough of this stunning stretch of coastline…

Interested in the wildlife including marine mammals, fish and birds or is it just the idea of seeing the coast from the “other side”, or maybe perhaps it’s just about being on a boat! You’ll see plenty of all and get the best photo opportunities for your next stunning insta post!

Our coastline is famous for having the most easterly point of the UK, miles of award winning beaches, great stretches of beautiful cliffs classified as nature reserves and 3 naturally forming, constantly moving offshore sandbanks.

Trip Itinerary

  • Departure from our berth at the Heritage Quay, South Pier
  • Through the yacht basin and out to sea past the pier heads
  • 20 knot approx. cruise north passing Ness Point (Britain’s most easterly point), Gunton, Corton and Hopton alternatively Cruise south passing Lowestoft’s South beaches, The Claremont Pier, the sandy beaches/cliffs of Pakefield, the impressive sand-bar at Kessingland and finally Benacre, home to many unique and special birds
  • Return journey to Lowestoft Harbour, Suffolk
