We take trips to see:
- Lowestoft Harbour
- Seals on Scroby Sands
- Horsey beach
- Scroby wind farm
- Sightseeing along the coast
and of course just for the love of being on a boat.
We currently pick up from the MTB 102 Trust in Oulton Broad / Lake Lothing
Seals at Scroby Sands. At most times of the year there are more seals here than at Horsey Beach. They often choose to come quite close to Shearwater (we let them come to us rather than the other way round)
Come with us on a virtual trip to Scroby and back. This unique video was taken by and shared with us by one of our lovely customers.
One of the many curious seals at Scroby. Some choose to pop over and see us, likewise some choose to continue to laze on the sand.
Seals on Horsey Beach. Some of the Scroby seals go to Horsey to have their pups then return to Scroby. Common harbour seals (around 20% of those on our coast) have their pups in June and July. Likewise, Atlantic grey seals have their pups in November and December.
If you have an idea for a trip you’d like to do let us know, we’d love to try and accommodate you.
