About the Boat
Our bright yellow RIB Shearwater is powered by a Yanmar 440 hp 5.8 L diesel engine driving a Hamilton jet unit – a setup known for power, reliability, and exceptional manoeuvrability.
The jet drive gives instant throttle response, smooth control, and no external propeller – making it safer and incredibly agile in confined areas.
Once you’ve felt how precisely a Hamilton jet can turn and stop, you’ll understand why it’s the choice of rescue and patrol vessels around the world.
What to Expect
We’ll depart from Lowestoft Harbour, explore the coastline or harbour area, and give you a proper feel for operating a commercial jet RIB.
Your skipper will tailor the experience to your interests – from handling and systems to navigation and situational awareness.
